He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Melba Wheatley and Evelyn Haycraft Wheatley; his granddaughter Patricia Elizabeth Wheatley; his siblings, Martha Faye England (Ed England) and Kenneth Wheatley; and his sister-in-law Janice Wheatley.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Johnson Wheatley; his children, Wayne Wheatley (Rhonda), Joelee Wheatley (Tina), Patrick Wheatley (Becky), Joshua Wheatley (Bridget) and Karen Snyder (Marty); his grandchildren, Jeremy Wheatley, Cordell Snyder (Kristen), Brandon Wheatley, Dalton Snyder, Celina Snyder, Sabrina Murray (Wayne), Trevor Wheatley, Austin Snyder (Bailey), Alexis Garrett (Steven), Dylan Wheatley, Chloe Wheatley, Shiloh Wheatley and Caleb Wheatley; his great grandchildren, Noah Wheatley, Grayson Garrett, Olivia Snyder, Vivian Garrett, Rayah Sydnor and Mason Snyder; and his siblings, Steve Wheatley (Tina) and Lois Chapman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
