He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Blan and Zelpha Johnson Blan. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Muffett Blan; his daughter Patsy McManaway; and his grandchildren, Jasmine McManaway (Robert Korressell), Jacob McManaway (Amanda) and Nakaya Bozarth (Brandon). He is also survived by nine great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
