She was predeceased by: her parents, William Alsip and Ethel Stone Alsip; her husband Russell Wheet; her son Samuel Lee Wheet; and her siblings, Ruby Tucker, Patsy Laslie and Jimmy Alsip.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Pate (Larry) and Eddie Wheet (Donna); her grandchildren, Chris Pate, Chanda Poole, Brandon Wheet and Melissa Cox; and her siblings, Gladys Koller, Brenda Crabtree, Tommy Alsip and David Alsip. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
