She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Tharpe and Frances Tharpe; and her siblings, Sharon Hudson and Harrison Tharpe. She is survived by: her son PJ Tharpe (Erin); her siblings, Pamela Addison, Karen Field and Jeffrey Tharpe (Jane); and her granddaughter Eleanora Tharpe. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
