He is survived by: his wife Opal Collins; his sons, Billy Collins (Glenna) and Brandon Collins (Hope); his brother JC Collins; his grandchildren, Kaylee Collins, Karleigh Collins Morris, Nicholas Collins and Colton Collins; and his close friends, Mike Combs, Harold Lawson (JR), William Collins (Wig), James Huff, Terry Baker, JC Collins, David Collins and Willie Lewis. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home (301 E Main St, Hazard, KY 41701-1922). A memorial service was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
