He was predeceased by: his parents, LD Gorman and Jan Gorman; his aunt Margaret "Sissy" Martin; and his uncles, Joe Pat, Perry Lee and William "Bill" Gorman.
He is survived by: his wife Malva Gorman; his children, Jessica Leedy (JB) of Hazard, KY, Lawrence Dewey Gorman (Kristie) of Hazard, KY, Bobby Ayers (Christy) of Corbin, KY, Brandon Ayers of Hazard, KY and Ridge Gorman (Emily) of Hazard, KY; his sister Laura Gorman Campbell (Steve) of Hazard, KY; his aunt Nan Gorman of Hazard, KY; his grandchildren, Shanna, Parker, Preston, Arabella, Lauren and Lance; his niece Tamara; and his nephew Tyler Crawford.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Hazard (560 Main St, Hazard, KY 41701). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
