He is survived by: his sons, Edward Dwayne Deaton of Buckhorn and Daniel Keith Deaton of Buckhorn; his sisters, Edna Wells of Hazard and Charlene Amis of Franklin, OH; his grandchildren, Cameron Dwayne Deaton and Keenan Grigsby Deaton; and his close friends, Leon Smith and Chester Smith.
