He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Pat Newberry and Sylvia Lawson Newberry; and his siblings, Tommy, Danny, Ernie, Nancy, Patricia, Florence and Ruth Ann.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Newberry; his sons, Franklin Curtis Lee Newberry (Tabitha) of Hazard, KY and Jared Newberry (Amanda) of Sulpher, KY; his stepchildren, James Logan Fields of Hazard, KY, Jonathan Matthews and Rebekah Bingham of Tyner, KY; his grandchildren, Leah, Michael, John, Kurstin, Krista, Marshall and Layne; his stepgrandchildren, Brittany, Jaden, Jonathan and Jeriko; his great grandchildren, Evan and Jeffrey; his stepgreat-grandchild Rowdy Logan; and his nephew Friends.
