With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ivan Wesley Woods of Hazard, Kentucky, born in Milroy, Indiana, who passed away on December 5, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Iva Gildewell Woods and William Woods; and his wife Sarah Jean Woods. He is survived by: his children, Paula Spitzler (Ken) of Murfreesboro, TN, Paul Woods and Neil Woods of Hazard, KY; his grandchildren, Jared Woods (Sarah), Jacob Woods, Maci Woods, Taylor Sharkey (Kevin), Patrick Woods, Madison Woods, Jon Woods and Dakota Napier; his great grandchildren, Noah, Lucy, Grace, Carter, Blayze, Axel, Elliott and Benny; his sister-in-law Joyce Fox; and his close friend Beth Cole. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center.
