It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janie Morgan in Hazard, Kentucky, who passed away on July 13, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Marcus "Butch" Whitaker and Ethel F. Mitchell; her grandchildren, Zoe, Owen and Camden; and her brother Randy Whitaker of Florida.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making donations to the Kentucky River Regional Animal Shelter or Lothair Community Church.
