He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Gross and Minta Gross; his former wife Mary Ann Gross; his brothers, Samuel Gross and Charles "Charlie John" Gross (Jill) of Louisville; and his goddaughter Samantha Sizemore Combs.
He is survived by: his daughters, Amy Gross of Hazard, Kentucky and Tabatha Hanlon (Brian) of Hazard, Kentucky; his granddaughters, Katherine Miller (Nicolas), Allison Hanlon, Kennedy McPeek and Alexis McPeek; his fiancée Lois Miller; his siblings, Buck Gross (Victoria) of Lexington, David Gross (Margaret) of Hazard, Kentucky, Janice Horton of Hyden, Rita Snyder of Hazard, Pam Ashley (Dwayne) of Hazard and Elouise Cotrel (Chris) of Lebanon, Missouri.; his sister-in-law Rita Gross (Samuel) of Hazard; and his friend Brenda Sizemore of Hazard, Kentucky. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center.
