He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Smith and Alma Williams Smith; his wife Lucille Smith; and his siblings, Larry Smith, Otto Smith, Gertrude Brewer and Freda Whitaker.
He is survived by: his son Jerry Travis Smith (Becky); his siblings, Bruce Smith (Betty), Ronnie Smith (Shirley), Bobby Smith, Tinsley Smith and Lillie Davidson; and his grandson Chase Lee Hobbs.
