With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John D Mitchell (Hazard, Kentucky), who passed away on August 1, 2025 at the age of 18. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mitchell and Teresa Ritchie Mitchell; his grandparents, Phyllis Smith, John Mitchell, Robin Ramey, Denzil Ritchie and Benny Smith; and his sibling's children, Madison Noble, Riley Noble, Nevaeh Noble and Chase Noble.
He is survived by: his sisters, Ceaira Mitchell, Candice Mitchell, Cheyenne Ritchie (Silas Mitchell) and Riley Noble (Joshua Noble); his girlfriend Kaitlyn Roberts; his close friend Daniel; and his siblings' children, Kianna and Remington (Friends).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Red Star Church of Lord Jesus Christ. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Red Star Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
