With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joseph A. Goebel of Hazard, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joseph left this world on June 3, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. Though Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joseph touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Anthony Goebel and Eleanor F. Pierce Goebel; and his wife Janice Burgett Goebel. He is survived by: his sister Sherry Downey; his niece Denise May; and his stepchildren, Beckie Husband and Joey Tyler.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
