With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joslyn Kolaz in Hazard, Kentucky, who passed away on October 7, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Joslyn may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Morris and Oleta Morris; and her brother Gordie Morris. She is survived by: her husband Anthony William Kolaz; and her children, Dustin Meyer (Jeannette), Michael Meyer, Michelle Lee (Michael) and Denise Cugliari (John). She is also survived by grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Confluence Baptist Church (532 Wilder Branch Rd, Hyden, KY 41749). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
