She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Hensley and Mary Hensley; her son Clarence Deaton Jr. (CJ); and her sisters, Alice Faye Campbell, Reva Pinson, Connie Hensley and June McDaniel.
She is survived by: her husband Clarence Deaton; her sons, Jerry Deaton (Kara), Kaleb Begley, Jacob Begley and Robert Harris; her siblings, Jerry Hensley (Betty Ann), Velma Chaney (John), Theresa Haney (Randy), Lesa Stacy (Sam), Phyllis Tackett and Angie Burris Brenda Kaye (John); her grandchildren, Brandon Deaton, Sierra Deaton, Natalie Slone (Jon), Austin Deaton (Jasmine), Alexa Bolling (Ben), Haley Coots John David (Logan) and Karidyn Sparkman; and her great grandchildren, Mckynzi Jent, Mckynli Jent, Holden Deaton, Lynix Deaton, Stetson Deaton, Ella Slone and Brinkley Slone.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bowling Funeral Home (301 E Main St, Hazard, KY 41701-1922). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
