Lawrence Daniel Gorman Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on August 27, 2022, at the age of 97, Lawrence Daniel Gorman of Hazard, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry F. Gorman and Allie Daniel Gorman; his wife Jan Gorman; and his siblings, Margaret "Cissy" Martin, Perry Lee Gorman, Joe Pat Gorman and Mayor William "Bill" Gorman.
He is survived by: his children, Laura Gorman Campbell (Steve) of Hazard, KY and Dewey Gorman (Malva) of Hazard, KY; his grandchildren, Jessica Renee Leedy (J. B.), Lawrence Dewey Gorman (Kristie), Lance Ridge Gorman (Emily), Lucas Kane Campbell (Morgan) and Michael Baylen Campbell; and his close friends, Deborah Penn, Tom Hammonds and Luther Deaton.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hazard First Baptist Church, Hazard High School Bulldog Family Fund or the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center.
