He is survived by: his wife Sandra Colwell of Johnson City, TN; his parents, Leon Hicks Colwell and Rebecca Mae Combs Colwell of Viper; his children, Jacob Colwell (Kayla) and Arielle Colwell of Hazard; his sister Kasie Jones (Clay); his niece Kyleigh Terry; his grandchildren, Zane Colwell, Veia Colwell and Irys Colwell; and his stepgranddaughter Aleyna Chandler.
