We are sad to announce that on July 23, 2025, at the age of 93, Myerl Baker (Hazard, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Daniel N. Baker and Orgie Baker; his significant other Deanna Lee Baker; his grandson John J. Bird; and his siblings, Grace Martin, John Baker, Elihue Baker, Vinia Coombs and Frank Baker.
He is survived by: his children, Grace Johnson (James), Victoria Lee Cappetto, Laurie Baker and Buddie E. Baker; his granddaughters, Sherry O'Connor (Beau), Jennifer Lee Tomlinson (Jason) and Janelle Oldmixon (Jason Owen); his great grandchildren, Keegan Sandlin, Raven Tomlinson, Gage Bird, Jake Tomlinson, Joseph Sandlin, Destiny Oldmixon, Ashley Tomlinson, Forest Oldmixon, Hunter O'Connor, Jonathan O'Connor and Adrianna O'Connor; and his brother Bart Baker.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Riverside Cemetery.
