She was predeceased by: her parents, Waldon Salyers and Mayme Salyers; her siblings, Maudie Ritchie, Betty Joe Farris, Lois Johnston, Shirley Dorsey, Phyllis Dorsey, Walden Salyers Jr., George Warren Salyers and Paul Wayne Salyers; and her son Michael Deaton.
She is survived by: her husband Arnett Deaton; her daughter Sheryl Abner (Jeremy); her siblings, Tommy Salyers of Geneva, Billy Ray Salyers of Hazard, Kentucky, Mary Jane Way of Geneva, Edna Mae Grimmett of Geneva and Virgie Davis of Geneva, Ohio; her grandchildren, Kaeley Paige Deaton, Jasey Mika and Abner; and her great grandchild Mason Verge.
