It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Williams in Hazard, Kentucky, born in Happy, Kentucky, who passed away on June 27, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Williams and Goldie Plowman Williams; and his sisters, Versie Begley, Carolyn Smith and Mary Ellen Laytart.

He is survived by: his wife Greta Adams Willams; his children, Darlene Couch (Larry), Roy Williams Jr. (Melissa) of Happy, KY and Boyd Williams (Lisa) of Hazard, KY; and his sisters, Nadine Adams and Lois Martin. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family & friends.
