We announce the death of Sandra Kay Hays of Hazard, Kentucky, who passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 56. She was predeceased by: her mother Ida Mae Young Couch; and her brother Ricky Couch. She is survived by: her father Clifford Couch; her husband Wayne Hays; her children, Amber Miller (Danny), Jimmy Miller (Charley) and Waylon Hays; her grandchildren, Hadlee and Jennings; and her nephew Ricky Couch.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Blair Memorial Baptist Church (1136 Lost Creek Rd, Hazard, KY 41701). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
