He is survived by: his wife Janet Moore; and his stepchildren, William Moore (Rhonda) of Cambridge, IN and Deborah Moore (Mitch) of Hazard, KY.. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Silas made significant contributions to his community and actively participated in several organizations.
