Steve Napier Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steve Napier (Hazard, Kentucky), born in Chavies, Kentucky, who passed away on February 22, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Taylor Napier and Mae Whitaker Napier; his son Stephen Napier; and his siblings, Glen Napier, Pauline Davidson and Frances June Napier Malicote.
He is survived by: his wife Mahala Ruth Napier of Chavies, KY; his granddaughters, Heather Napier of Hazard, KY, Paige Gay and Blake of Gays Creek, KY; his siblings, Rodney Napier of California, William Napier of Chavies, KY, Lucy Mallicoate of Somerset, KY and Madge Lunsford of Ohio; and his great grandchildren, Brody Gay, Roczen Gay and Hayden Smith. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center at 101 Dennis Sandlin MD Cove – Hazard, Kentucky 41701.
