She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Burns of Hazard, KY; her children, Joe Tapio of Hazard, KY and Sandi Shepherd (Jeffery); her stepdaughter Kimberlee Burns of Richmond, KY; her sisters, Loretta Sandlin of Newport, KY and Ruby Wallen of Hazard, KY; and her grandchildren, Kagan Shepherd, Ryder Tapio, Donielle Haley, Kaelyn Tapio, MaKenzie Callahan, Tabitha, Britney and Michael. She is also survived by other relatives & friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home (301 E Main St, Hazard, KY 41701). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
