With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susie Lindsay (Hazard, Kentucky), who passed away on December 2, 2025 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Eversole and Rhoda McIntosh Eversole; her husband Charles Lindsay; her son Brian Lindsay; and her siblings, Astor Eversole, Raymond Eversole and Maggie Eversole.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Couch of Busy, Grant Lindsay (Sheila) and David Lindsay (Dorothy); her sister Irene Lindsey of Busy; her grandchildren, Wiley Hunter Couch, Aiden Feltner, Jaxson Feltner, Tiffany Lindsay and Hannah Lindsay; and her great grandchild Xavier Fields. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other relatives & friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home (301 E Main St, Hazard, KY 41701-1922). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
