She was predeceased by: her parents, Esaw J. King and Lucinda Wilder King; her children, George Scott Brooks, Rex Brooks and Betty Ruth Helton; her husband Charlie King; and her siblings, Henry King, James Hiram King, Nellie Rust, Edith Bryant, Laura Vires, Mary Ann King and Christine Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Gene Brooks, Jr. of Hazel Green, Robert Hollon of Whitesburg, Arco Hollon of Ohio and Sherri Branham of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; and her siblings, Courtney King of Middletown, Ohio and Marie Collins of Campton, Kentucky.. She is also survived by twenty one grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren.
