It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barry Vickers (Henderson, Kentucky), born in Berea, Kentucky, who passed away on July 31, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Barry departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Barry. Though Barry may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Anita Vickers; his daughter Leah Newman; and his grandchildren, Anorah and Jonas Newman.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Church (3314 Forest Ave, Evansville, IN 47712). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
