He is survived by: his wife Sandra Abney; his children, Michelle Eddmenson of Cookeville, TN, Bennie Abney II (Nichole) of Henderson and Patrick Abney (Jennifer) of Henderson; and his sisters, Martha Ditzer of Arizona and Suzanne Lowe of Texas. He is also survived by five grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
