She was predeceased by: her parents, Edger Claude and Ella Mae Bugg (Thompson); her husband Rev. Billy Carter; her son Danny Carter; and her siblings, Dorothy Purcell, Earl Bugg and Carl Bugg.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Wanda Carter; her sisters, Barbara Whitledge and Minnie Meredith; her granddaughters, Jennifer Lehman (Steve) and Michelle Hope (Scott); her great grandchildren, Kelly Battiato (Matthew), Hailee Hope and Emilee Hope; and her great great grandchild Carter Battiato.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Tomblinson Funeral Homes (325 1st St, Henderson, KY 42420). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
