Bruce Stanley Farmer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bruce Stanley Farmer of Henderson, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 19, 2025 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bruce Stanley Farmer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert L. Farmer, Jr. and Jane Ramsey Farmer; and his brothers, Kent Lee Farmer and Scott Farmer. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Farmer of Henderson; his children, Charles Farmer (Crystal) of Henderson and Laura Marshall (Jared) of Louisville; his grandchildren, Madisyn Farmer of Henderson, Peyton Marshall of Louisville and Clarke Marshall of Louisville; and his siblings, Gene Farmer (Stacey Thomas) of Indianapolis, Judith Farmer-Mayo (Allen) of Henderson and Mary Farmer of Washington, D. C.. He is also survived by one uncle.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home (629 S Green St, Henderson, KY 42420). A masonic service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Lucy Smith King Care Center or the Henderson Music Preservation Society.
