Buddy left this world on January 17, 2026 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Newman and Doris Newman (Hazelwood); and his siblings, James Newman (Jimmy), Claude Newman, Dorothy Jenkins, Carolyn Smith, JoAnn Boswell and Martha James.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy Newman (Harback); his sons, Joel Newman (Gina) of Dana Point, CA and Brad Newman of Henderson, KY; his grandchildren, Abraham Newman, Aaron Newman (Madelyn), Joseph Newman, Torrey Newman and Rachael Newman; and his siblings, Wyatt Newman (Tinky) of Henderson, KY, Ron Newman (Verna) of Fayetteville, PA and Shirley Rideout of Lakeland, FL. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
