He was predeceased by: his parents, Eligah W. McLevain and LueBelle McLevain (Gilmore); his grandfather Little Pa; his siblings, Orville "Mac" McLevain, Freeman "Tickle" McLevain, David McLevain, Charles McLevain, Roy McLevain, Perry McLevain, Ann Crawford, Adele "Sis" Phelps and Mary Williams; his son John McLevain; and his sons-in-law, Robert Waddle and James Goben.
He is survived by: his uncle Leon; his children, Ginger Waddle of Henderson, Annie Goben of Hebbardsville, David McLevain (Angie) of Hebbardsville, Tim McLevain of Henderson and Carl McLevain (Angie) of Marion; his grandchildren, Josh, Davy, Jennifer, Tiffany, Trisha, Johna, Dustin, Lisa, Brian, Lindsay, Bobby, Stacie and Tracey; and his siblings, Bettye Vanover of Henderson, Shirley Embry of Henderson and Elige McLevain (Pam) of Cottontown, Tennessee. He is also survived by 25 great grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren.
In 75 years, he only missed one—and only because COVID-19 kept him home, something that truly broke his heart.
Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to St. Anthony's Hospice.
