He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Jerome and Lorene LaRue Blanford; his grandparents, Charles, Carrie LaRue and Allen Blanford; and his siblings, Kenneth Blanford, James "Jady" Blanford, Jerry Blanford, Johnny Blanford, Jody Blanford and Martha "Motts" Hall.
He is survived by: his siblings, Faye Pippin of Geneva, Virginia "Ginny" Sigler of Henderson, Linda McCallister (Lloyd) of Tell City, Indiana and George Blanford of Smith Mills, Kentucky. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
