She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Griffin and Auvy Griffin; and her siblings, Jefferson, Carlos Griffin, Sue Harrington and Mary Dean Abel.
She is survived by: her husband Duane Young; her daughters, Sandra Jones, Christi Ellis and Melissa Overfield; her stepchildren, Vanessa Melton and Morgan Young; her sister Joan Warren; and her grandchildren, Justin Higgins, Cameron Higgins, Leslie McFall, Emalee Welsh, Eathan Overfield, Trey Melton, Jake Young, Gabriel Young, Amy Beth and William Jones, Jr.. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
