She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Connell and Bertha Connell; her former husband James Denton; and her husband Shirley Samples. She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Denton, Sr., James Denton, Jesse Denton and Jody Denton. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, and 34 great-grandchildren.
