She was predeceased by: her parents, Dora Parm (Hanley) and Robert Parm; her siblings, Roscoe Parm, Philip Parm, Bobbie Jo Parm, Vernita Kay Bridges, Charles "Buddy" Parm, Vergie Franklin and Zuetta Boyd; her mother-in-law Iola Carter; and her granddaughter Leah D'Von Butts.

She is survived by: her husband Melvin Stamps; her children, Layson Parm, John Brooks (Schmia), Margo Otis (Robert), Richard Coker and Nakayla Crowe; and her siblings, Sina Evans and Bill Parm. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren.
