He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Bell and Louise Bell (McFarland); his daughter Donna Lynn Bell; his grandson Timothy Pike; and his brother Charlie Bell.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Bell (Farney); his sons, Doug Bell (Ardee) and Matt Bell (Cristal); his granddaughters, Madison Dawn, Raegan, Anna and Kendall; his great grandchild Channing; his sister Virginia Carman; and his pets, Gracie and Winnie. He is also survived by special friends, nieces, and nephews.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Chapel Hill UMC and/or St. Anthony's Hospice.
