She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Whitaker and Katharine Whitaker; and her sisters, Eldora Skipworth and Patricia Thom. She is survived by: her husband Daniel Stinson; her daughter Deidre "Dee Dee" Shadrick (John) of Paducah, KY; her siblings, Barbara Womack (Terry) of Zion, KY and Gary Whitaker (Holly) of White Plains, KY; and her granddaughters, Callie Shadrick of Louisville, KY and Natalie Shadrick of Fort Thomas, KY. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Hyland Baptist Church (1400 Wright St, Henderson, KY 42420-4561).
