He was predeceased by: his father Donald Courtney; and his brothers, Roger Courtney, Jeff Courtney, Jeremy Courtney and Daniel Green.
He is survived by: his mother Shirley Laughary; his stepfather Danny Laughary; his children, Cassandra Calvert (Chris Calvert), Angel Courtney, Dan Soderlund (Jennifer Soderlund) and Nathan Gates; his grandchildren, Eric Soderlund, Elain Soderlund, Devon Rigdon, Xavier Calvert, Ellis Hill, Lucas Hill, Jamison Soderlund and Zaylee Calvert; and his siblings, Penny LaPradd, Tammy Martin (Jimmy Martin) and Danny Laughary II.
