He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Ray and Margaret Majors Sutton; his wife Helen "Gayle" Sutton; his daughter Jill Renae Sutton; and his brother Lanny Sutton.
He is survived by: his children, Jackie Alan Sutton (Angela), Joni Gay Smith (Darrell), Jeffrey Jay Sutton and Jeanna Rae Sutton; his siblings, Judy Thompson, Carol Ford, Ginnia Emmons and James Harold Sutton; his grandchildren, Heather Sutton, Josh Sutton, Shannon Gayle Hancock, Shelly Renae Kendell, Laci Jae Littrell, Lindsey Schwartz, Alex Hancock, Coltan Sutton, Justin Sutton, Trae Mays and Alan Jay Mays; his great grandchild Braden Author; and his great great grandchild Grey Elliott. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
