He was predeceased by: his parents, Clydie Owens and Ruby Owens; and his siblings, Thomas Owens, Donald Owens, Bobby Owens, Linda Howard and Betty Jean Donaghy.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Bentley (Ron), Pam Stone, Jimmy Owens and Jama Pike (Rick); his sisters, Dorothy Mae Stone, Mary Alice Adams and Wanda Gail Lynn; and his sister-in-law Sue Owens. He is also survived by five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Victory Christian Church.
