We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2025, at the age of 82, James Donal Alderson (Henderson, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Alderson and Lucille Alderson. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Marie Alderson; his daughter Pamela Moyes (Brad); his grandchildren, Scott Moyes (Blair), Nicole Moyes and Heath Moyes (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Reed, Oliver, Avery, Thea, Kimber, Morgan and Everson; and his sister Jenny Clark. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tomblinson Funeral Home (325 1st St, Henderson, KY 42420). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at the Corydon Cemetery (12101 US-60, Corydon, KY 42406).
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or St. Anthony's Hospice.
