James L. Gish Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James L. Gish of Henderson, Kentucky, who passed away on January 23, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louia Gish and Marylee Gish (Overby); and his siblings, Ronnie Gish and Judy Parker. He is survived by: his wife Rita Gish; his children, Lori Eblen (Barry) and James L. Gish, Jr. (Terri); his grandchildren, James Michael Eblen (Jessie), Jonathan Eblen (Carli), Justin Eblen (Rachel), Shelby Lynn Gish and Casey Nicole Green; and his great grandchildren, Cora McKenzie, Reed McKenzie, Henry Eblen, Charlie Eblen, Ellis Eblen, Grant Eblen, Colt Green and Chloe Green.
Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to the KY Sheriff Boys and Girls Ranch or St. Jude's.
