We are sad to announce that on July 20, 2025, at the age of 85, James Roger Head Jr. of Henderson, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Roger Head, Sr. and Anna Florence Clements Head; his wife Donna M. Richardson Head; and his sister Helen Jean Head DeCelle. He is survived by: his daughters, Darla Alvey (Randy) of Henderson, Kim Wilson of Henderson, Robin Givens (Bo) of Little Dixie and Buffy Spivey of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Jennifer Frazier, Roger Alvey, Katherine Mitchell, Tasha Fischer and Christopher Crowley; his great grandchildren, Dillon Long, Naomi Alvey, Kylee Long, Adeline King, Xzyia Turner of Coleman Crowley, C. J, Frazier, Weston Crowley, Major Matthews, Malakai Matthews, Grayson Fischer, Preston Fischer and Avery Mae Crowley; his great great grandchildren, Kahleesia Gaither, Adrian King and Kaia Gaither; and his siblings, Sue Christian of Henderson, Julia Speaks of Corydon, Rosalie Vowels of Henderson, Winnie Lampton of Newburgh, Ryan Head of Henderson and Dennis Head of Leesburg, Florida. He is also survived by 26 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home (604 Center St, Henderson, KY 42420). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
