With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Harold Sheffer of Henderson, Kentucky, who passed away on May 27, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore "Punch" Sheffer and Mary Lee Allen Sheffer. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Sheffer; his daughter Jennifer Barnett; and his grandsons, James Chambers, John Chambers and Josh Opperman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
