He is survived by: his wife Janell Conn; his children, David Conn of Dallas, TX and Susan Turley (Kelly) of Henderson, KY; his granddaughters, Jenna Lee Neuhoff (Scott) of Richmond, VA and Lena Anderson of Dallas, TX; his sister Marie Moring (Foy Yancey) of Chandler, AZ; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Rudd of Smithland, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
John requested that, in lieu of flowers or other memorials, those wishing to honor his memory perform a random act of kindness for another person or make a donation to St. Anthony's Hospice in Henderson, KY.
