He is survived by: his mother Judy Hargis Edwards Scott; his son John Kevin Edwards, II (Chloe); his grandchildren, Dash and Jack Edwards of Blue Springs, Missouri; his stepfather Ray Scott of Henderson, Kentucky; his siblings, David Edwards (Elaine) of Lees Summit and Michelle Green (Terry) of Henderson, Kentucky; his nephews, Ryan Edwards, Alex Edwards (Melissa), Brandon Bassett and Logan Green (Lauren); and his uncle Gene Hargis. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
