With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Lewis Raley (Henderson, Kentucky), born in Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on September 9, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Raley and Venita Raley (Todd); his wife Mary; his stepdaughter Diane Davis; his grandson C. J. Davis; and his brother Lee Boyd Raley.
He is survived by: his son Jason Raley (Wendi) of Woodland, GA; his stepson Emory Davis (Peggy); his grandson Todd Raley (Sara) of Kennesaw, GA; his stepgrandchildren, Andrew Davis and Jenna Davis; his great grandchildren, Trip and David Raley; his friend Vickie Kauffman; his great grandchildren, Mikalah and Carson Davis of McDonough, GA; and his sisters, Dolores Skaggs (Robert) of Henderson, KY and Connie Bach (Henry) of Richmond, KY. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home (629 S Green St, Henderson, KY 42420). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
