It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth E. Ankrom of Henderson, Kentucky, who passed away on September 30, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Chunfeng Guo; his children, John Ankrom, Erich Ankrom (Cassie), Lisa Ankrom, Kristin Ankrom, Kimberly Nunnelly (Jerrod) and Kaitlin Joseph (Austin); and his sister Diana Ankrom. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

“I am just now learning of Ken's passing. I want to offer my sincerest condolences to his family and friends. I met Ken in 1975 at Eglin AFB where we worked together as draftsman. We were even room mates in the barracks for a while. We also worked together a few years later in AFOG at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. I will always remember the good times and adventures we had as young men in the Air Force. God bless and keep him. I will always remember him fondly. Love and prayers to his family.”
